Ames Storm Shelters 10 Year Warranty is as Follows:

If your shelter develops a leak through the structure floor, wall or top while your warranty is in force, we will fix or repair the leak. Natural disasters or acts of nature are out of our control and will not be covered under the warranty guidelines. This warranty is non-transferrable.

Proper Maintenance Must be Followed for Your Warranty to Valid.

1. You must keep your dirt up to the top of the shelter on the sides and back, this keeps the unit weighted correctly and moderate in temperature. Any loss of dirt that is not maintained and brought back up to top of shelter, as it was when installed, will void the warranty.

2. The wind turbine must be caulked each year. Do not alter the airflow outside of the unit by blocking or hindering air circulating inside the unit, Such as: cutting fencing around the shelter or a structure that would block the airflow to the unit. This will create a problem and void your warranty. Upon installation, we make sure that it is placed in an area that is adaquate for air flow to the unit.

3. Follow maintenance on shelter as needed, as stated and required on the contract.

NO STRUCTURAL MODIFICATIONS TO THE UNIT CAN BE MADE, THIS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY. Landscaping is allowed around the unit.
